As a Doula, I Do Not:
Free Consultation
This visit allows us to get to know each other and make sure we are a good match as well as discuss your expectations from me and any fears you may have.
Prenatal Visits
Monthly to bi-monthly visits will be provided to review comfort techniques, labor positons, and aromatherapy to see what will work best for you. I will also assist in Birth Plan writting if you so desire this.
Phone & Email, Text Support
You will have contact with me via phone, text, or email during your entire pregnancy until the first few weeks after your baby is born for any questions, concerns, or information support you need.
Professional Information
I will provide you with information you need to make the best choice possible for all aspects of your pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
During labor
I will be "on-call" 24/7 starting at 38-weeks until your baby is born and will be with you as soon as you need me once labor starts until 1-2 hours after your baby is born.
Baby’s first feeding Support
Once your baby is born I will assist in breastfeeding (if you choose to) to increase your chance of success in this area.
Community Referrals
I can assist with locating services such as counseling, additional breastfeeding support if needed, and support groups.
Perform any clinical tasks
I do not perform vaginal examinations to check a woman's cervical dilation, take blood pressure or fetal heart tones, or diagnose you or the baby.
Make decisions for you
I will provide you with evidence-based information, a review of available options, and then trust you to make decisions that are right for you.
Project any of my own beliefs onto your experience
I will trust you to make the best decisions for you and will not judge you based on those decisions.
Postpartum follow-up visit
Immediate post-partum and help establishing breastfeeding for approximately 1-2 hours after the birth, or until new family is comfortable and resting well. I will follow-up with you at your home with 1-2 visit (more if needed) to discuss your birth experience, answer questions, and talk about your life with a newborn.

Pregnancy/Labor/Birth/Post-Partum Services: $600.00
I feel that every woman that wants a doula deserves a doula so please talk with me about payment plans if finances are an issue and dont let money keep you from having the birth experience you wish for and deserve.
